We had a fantastic 4th! It is my favorite holiday, especially now that we are back in our hometown. Our small town is great - we have a big parade (and our house is on the parade route!), activites going on around town all day, and one of the best firework displays in the state. We decided to host a big party and invite all our friends and family to our house to watch the parade and have a cookout. It ended up being 100 degrees that day - but it was still a good time. We had a great turnout and it was so nice to see so many people! We started our morning by going over to the school for the pancake breakfast - yum! We had yummy food all day, and the fireworks were amazing! A few pics:
