Rachel - 6 months old!

Miss Rachel turned 6 months old yesterday!  She had her 6 month checkup at the pediatrician this morning.  She currently weighs 15 lbs, 14 oz, which is just under the 50th percentile.  Her doctor said she looks great, and that she looks to be a happy, healthy baby.  :)

I posted the pic earlier in the week of her sitting up by herself, which is her newest trick.  She can easily roll from back to tummy (has been doing that for a couple of months), but is still working on tummy to back.  She will usually roll on to her tummy, then get mad and cry because she is stuck!  She loves playing with her toys right now.  Everything goes right in her mouth.  She is very happy playing in her exersaucer.

She loves to eat!  We have been doing solids once a day for just over a month now, and so far she has had applesauce, sweet potatoes, carrots, pears, avocado, peaches and mangoes, and her cereal.  She liked it all, except the avocado.

She is taking great naps finally.  She typically takes a good nap mid-morning, and another short nap or two in the afternoon.  At night, she goes right down around 8:00.  She has slept through the night a couple of times, but most nights she wakes to eat every 5-6 hours, if not sooner.  Some nights are better than others.

Overall, our little pumpkin is doing great!  Of course we love her to pieces, and her older siblings are awesome with her.  I can't believe it has already been 6 months!
