Christmas 2012

Well, Christmas has come and gone - and we had a great one!  The kids were so much fun this year!  They received a crazy amount of presents and had fun with all of our family who was here.  We had a busy Christmas Eve baking more cookies and celebrating Grandma Koerner's birthday.  In the evening, we went out for our annual Christmas Eve drive around town to see all the lights.  After, Ray read the kids "The Night Before Christmas", and Emmy and Luke danced around the dark front yard in the snow sprinkling Reindeer Food everywhere.  Cookies for Santa were left, and everyone went to bed!
The next morning was the usual Christmas morning craziness, but lots of fun.  The kids were thrilled with their gifts.  Among other things, Emmy got lots of art and craft projects, an easel, and a toy puppy.  Luke got a LOT of legos!  Aiden received a few Thomas trains (of course!) and a couple of car playsets, and Rachel got several new toys and some cute outfits.
Later that evening, we went to Ray's Aunt Amy's house with the extended family for dinner.  It was nice to see everyone, including most of Ray's cousins who we don't see often.  Overall, I would say this is one of our best Christmases yet!  Now, we are getting ready to head to Ohio for a few days to ring in the New Year with more family - we are busy as usual!!
Merry Christmas Luke!

Rachel's 1st Christmas!  She got socks, a toothbrush and Puffs in her stocking.
