Luke had a dentist appointment on Monday. He did very well, and his teeth look great, no cavities. The hygienist was about to give him a fluoride treatment.
"What is your favorite flavor? I have grape, orange, strawberry....."
Luke thought for a moment, then asked, "Do you have any cheese?"
:) Love my boy.

Pooky Goes to the Dentist
I finally got around to taking Pooky in for his very first dental checkup last month. Overall, he did great. He started off very brave, climbed up in the chair, talked to the dentist, let her check all of his teeth. Then, all of a sudden, he freaked out. Cried, climbed out of the chair, wanted me to hold him... I tried to convince him to let the dentist finish her work, which finally he did so, reluctantly. Our dentist is awesome, she is so great with the kids!
I snapped one quick picture before we left - not the best, he has a funny look on his face, and I think he just really wanted to get out of there! Not that I blame him, I am not a big fan on going to the dentist either!

Emmy's 1st Dentist Visit
Emmy had her very first visit at the dentist this morning. She did awesome! I was a bit worried that she would cry and refuse to open her mouth, but she did great! Dr. Koenig was wonderful with her. She told her all about what they were going to do, let her watch a quick dinosaur cartoon to help her relax, and let her pickout a new toothbrush. Then, Emmy got her teeth brushed and flossed, and had a flouride treatment. And Dr. Koenig said that her teeth look great!
I took this picture at the end of the visit. Emmy was giving Dr. Koenig a high-five. :)
