Big Girl Bed

This weekend, Emmy graduated to her big girl bed - no more crib! We really hadn't planned on doing it just yet, since she was fine in her crib - she still has never made any attempt to climb out, and she sleeps great - but, I had found a bed rail in great condition for $5.00 at a consignment shop, and Emmy really seemed excited about the idea of a big girl bed.... so we decided to go ahead and do it.
And so far - it has been great! We have had 2 nights with no problems. She has gone to bed just like she did with her crib, and she slept through the night. I have heard so many horror stories about kids refusing to sleep in the bed, or constantly getting out of the bed, but so far, no problems here. We'll see how it goes the rest of the week!
