Pooky Age 18 Months

Well, my little guy officially turned 18 months old yesterday. CRAZY. He has changed so much over the last few months - he is not really a baby any more! *sniff* :(
He is starting to say a few words now, which is fun to hear. He can now say "uh-oh", "all gone", "choo-choo" (for train), "Bob" (gotta love Bob the Builder), ball, doggy, go, and baby. He also can say the basic Mama and Dada, although he still calls Ray "Mama" quite a bit.
He is mischievous and brave. He will continue to throw a toy 5 times in a row despite me sternly telling him not to and slapping his hand. He is a pro at temper tantrums. We usually have 4 or 5 tantrums a day, just lasting a minute or so whenever he doesn't get what he wants. And although he doesn't really torment Baby R like he used to, he still loves to grab whatever toy she has and runs away with it laughing.
He eats like he hasn't eaten in days, when in reality he just ate an hour ago. He has definitely grown, and I will be curious as to how much when he has his check up in a couple of weeks. He is now wearing a size 6 shoe, and 24 month clothing, which I suppose isn't too far off where he should be, it just amazes me that he can already be wearing such big sizes.
He is definitely a tease, and I am sure that this is something that will just get worse as he gets older, especially towards his sister. He does bite occasionally, usually when he gets excited while playing.
But, despite the throwing of toys, occasional biting, and tormenting his sister and Baby R, he is such a sweet little guy. He still loves to cuddle with me, especially in the mornings. He will often find a book of his bookshelf, bring it to me, and climb in my lap to be read to. And he will want me to read the same book 6 times. He also gives hugs and kisses, to us and Emmy. When we go outside, he will stand on the sidewalk and wave at every single car that drives by, with a happy grin on his face. He LOVES to play trucks, either by himself, or with one of us. His favorite thing though, is to run up and down the hallway with Emmy, just laughing and happily yelling.
Yep, he is a fun little kiddo, and so darn cute...
I love him so fricken much.
Happy 18 month, little guy!

aw, he sounds just like my 21 month old was at that stage. He's testing your limits but giving you SUCH sweet cuddling that it's all worth it.

Mine was wearing the same sizes as yours was, too ... he's now in size 8 1/2 shoe and 2T clothes. They grow so fast!

They are so much fun at 18 months! My 2 year old is still very mischievous. He is 2 going on 12! I would like the say the tantrums get better, but I am still going through them with my little guy! But to his defense...he is going better!

He is such a doll!

My son is 2 months younger and wears a 5 1/2 shoe and sometimes 24 month clothes. They must be pretty close in size, as well as age. Happy 18 months to you and your little guy! (:

Anna was born on November 19th. So they are only 4 days apart in age. Anna wears a 5 to a 5 1/2 shoe, although sometimes I put her in a six because they're handy lol. She wears a few 24 month outfits, but mostly 18s. Boys are usually bigger than girls, though. Your little guy is starting to lose the baby look. Maybe Anna is, too... I don't notice it too much, maybe. She's pretty bald and longer hair I've noticed makes babies look older. He is a precious little guy! So beautiful! Congratulations! :D
