Crooked Clothes

Emmy has been having issues with clothes lately. Nothing seems to fit her right.

It started while we were in Florida a couple of weeks ago. While we were at the hotel, she kept taking off her shorts saying that they "keep going crooked". It was a struggle for the rest of the trip to keep her clothes on - shorts, undies, socks, and shoes. She cried and fussed, and I tried every clothing item I had packed in her suitcase trying to find something that would work. Nothing did.
Once we got home, she seemed better, but she has still been complaining of her clothes being crooked.

Then a few nights ago, she wanted to take her pajamas off before bed. She claimed that she wanted to sleep nekkid, like Daddy, which made me laugh.

Although looking back, this really isn't a new thing, because about a year ago she had this thing about taking her clothes off, even in the middle of a restaurant. Hmmm....

Despite being kinda funny, I am hoping that it is just a stage, because it is driving me nuts.

I took this picture of her at the playground a couple of weeks ago. I love her smile. Plus, she has clothes on, which is always a bonus. :)

P.S. I had a GREAT Mother's Day! I hope that you all did as well!

I have been through this sort of thing with my kids and my neice is presently going through issues again with her socks and undies - they are so funny and YES - it can drive you crazy. She's cutie, though!

Take care - Kellan

I wonder why they go thru this stage? We haven't dealt with it yet, but I am sure we will.

Oh goodness. Sounds like a handful to deal with. We have issues with clothing too, but she always has to have them on. She can't even just wear a nightgown to bed because she needs pants as well. Crazy kid. She's adorable though...clothes and all. :)

Oh I love that face in that shot! And I so can relate - my clothes NEVER fit right either. Sad. True. :)

I'm trying to catch up on all of my blog reading and don't have a lot of time to comment on every post - I'm mainly skimming. Anyway...
I this post is so funny. I love the camp-out in your family room. The birthday party looked like fun. Sounds like the clothe diapering is going well.

Kathryn strips down all the time too. Maybe it is just the age, but I don't seem to remember the others doing this!
